Reputation Ledgers are the parallel tracking systems that record social and professional standing across all four coalitions. Unlike financial debts that clear at every Minor Reset, reputation accumulates and decays more slowly, creating lasting consequences for actions taken.
How Reputation Works
Every significant interaction — successful deliveries, broken contracts, acts of aid, or public duels — is logged by guild scribes, dock authorities, or council clerks. These entries are stored in both physical ledgers and etched hemotech archives linked to aether veins.
- Positive Marks: Reliable deliveries, honorable duels, or acts of public service increase standing and open better contracts or alliances.
- Negative Marks: Breaches, unpaid favors, or public failures reduce standing and can lock individuals or clans out of certain districts or opportunities.
- Durability: Reputation survives Minor Resets but can be partially cleared or adjusted during Grand Resets.
Enforcement
